The movie has been turned into a crushing bore by a producer who is so dryly factual and absorbed with mechanical wonders that his movies would ring like an anvil if you bounced them.

As a documentary of close-up of modern FBI techniques in training foreign spies, this picture packs a lot of punch. As a drama about human beings enmeshed in dangerous conspiracy, I find it somewhat less convincing.
